It is commonly known that the Romagnan people are good food gourmets and consider cuisine a fact of a great importance.

The moment of dining is almost a ritual of living together in a family or, even better, in a company of friends and “romagnolo doc”. This may be the reason for which Emilia Romagna is a region characterised by the greatest amount of the typical and quality products. It may boast of European recognition of 15 products PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) and 11 PGI (Protected Geographical Indication). It offers a stunning tray of tastes and colours of sea and earth, that sattisfies even the most demanding palates.

Riccione is not denying this feature, but emphises it, enjoying its recognition as a place of delicious cuisine and wide range of restaurants, inns and pizzerias to choose from, at the seaside or within the countryside. This is further on confirmed by a rich summer calendar of gastronomic taste & tradion appointments, that each year are recalled by tourists from all over Europe.

There are two main periods, in which Riccione gives pleasure to our senses: one at summertime, when local producers gather in the harbour, along the cost or directly on the beach to present fish dishes. The other one, that matches every season, joins local producers from hills and country, that provide an opportunity to try genuine cuisine.

We would like to present those two events in caffes, inns and mostly frequented restaurants, little “universes” of Riccioners, appreciated also by many tourists and famous international personas, where tradition is married to innovation, technology and creativity.
