Wine has become, next to other typical products, an instrument through which an identity of territory is expressed. More and more tourists are attracted by what the wine is about: land’s culture, tradition and way of life. The recent studies have shown that the demand for food and wine (with an emphasis on wine)has been rising.
Just to mention the data, there are 24 millions of Italians who have an habit of wine drinking. Almost 6 million of those people try and consume wine increasingly paying attention to the quality label, they buy guides and professional journals, frequent wine shops and bars, at the weekends set off to explore places rich of art, history and ambience, also wine cellars.
Wine is a perfect after-the-dinner companion, relaxing, warm and pleasurable (it’s clear that a glass of good wine can cheer any atmosphere up). Wine bars are spread all over Emilia Romagna, a genuine land of Bacchus. The locals like to meet before and after the dinner to have a chat outside, in front of a glass of wine, also in the wintertime. You can mingle with them at Vicolo di Bacco, Riccione’s first inn at Ceccarini Street.
