Misano World Circuit

The Misano World Circuit could only be located in this famous land of motorcycles and racing champions: an area which has produced world-beaters of the calibre of Valentino Rossi, Loris Capirossi, Alex De Angelis, Andrea Dovizioso, Marco Melandri, Mattia Pasini, Manuel Poggiali, Marco Simoncelli and Roberto Tamburini, undisputed champions, many times over, of the Santa Monica Moto GP.

The Santa Monica International Circuit or, in other words, the short stretch of road connecting Riccione to Misano Adriatico, is one of the most famous of the Moto GP circuits.

After considerable refurbishment in 2006, which resulted in the enlargement of the stands for the spectators and an increase in the length of the course layout to 4180 km, which also involved widening it to 14 metres, the Circuit has been fully reinstated as one of the great motorcycle stages. Thanks to these operations, the route is now recognized as one of the best and safest motorcycle circuits in the world.

This year the race will be held once again, with all the enthusiasm which characterizes such events as the San Marino Grand Prix and the Rimini and Riccione Moto GP, as well as the traditional World Superbike Championship competition. Indeed, the Misano Adriatic Gran Prix attracts thousands of enthusiasts and other spectators every year, who come to share in the excitement of this GP race on the Santa Monica circuit!
