You can practise Nordic Walking in the parks, along the woodland paths, out in the countryside, on the beach or indeed in the mountains. It is of course most commonly practised on the shore and is very relaxing and beneficial.
Nordic Walking uses about 90% of the muscles in your body without causing undue stress to the joints. There are three levels to Nordic Walking – wellness, fitness and sport – so you can choose the level and the respective exercises that best suit your physical condition. You can go on a leisurely and therapeutic walk, do some good aerobic training or stretch your muscles with special athletic exercises.
