Mondaino celebrates its famous products of the Fall and its territory on Sundays November 16th and 23th.
This is the traditional festival “Fossa cheese, truffles and Cerere“, a fair dedicated to a series of delightful surprises that can be tasted and purchased during the event directly from local producers.
Two are the main protagonists of this celebration: the white and black truffles from the Hills of Rimini and the Fossa Cheese, a pecorino cheese ripened in special tufa pits within the castle of Mondaino, used for storage of agricultural products since antiquity. (continua…)

800 Festival starts in Saludecio, Italian Adriatic Coast, in August 6 to 9 August.
In this charming medieval village in the hinterland of Riccione, the visitors go back in time, two centuries back, in the nineteenth century: sceneries, music, costumes, ceremonies… all around seems the Twenty-seventh century.
The shows begin at 19:00 and go until late evening.
Entrance is free for children under 12 years and adults are charged € 7.00.
The theme of this edition is Paris in XXVIIth, the “Ville Lumière”, the scenery is the atmosphere of ‘belle epoque’, the bohemian artists and maudit poets, the “can can” of the legendary Moulin Rouge, the circus, the accordion of Parisian Waltz …
The 800 Festival offers lots of curiosity, costumes, traditions, textiles, machinery, tricycles and other inventions that have changed the history of the West.
There is the fascinating and suggestive path en plain air of Murals of Saludecio, works of art painted on the walls of the village.
There are also markets and food stands to taste the typical products of the tradition.

The Palio del Daino of Mondaino, in the hinterland of Riccione, is back from 20 to 23 August 2009.
Its streets, squares and all corners of this picturesque city of Romagna come alive and suddenly you’re between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.

The Feast of the Witches in San Giovanni in Marignano, from June 19 to 23 2009, lasts from sunset to deep night.
As wants the local tradition, also this year the witches come after midnight and make nasty turns.
