Mondaino celebrates its famous products of the Fall and its territory on Sundays November 16th and 23th.
This is the traditional festival “Fossa cheese, truffles and Cerere“, a fair dedicated to a series of delightful surprises that can be tasted and purchased during the event directly from local producers.
Two are the main protagonists of this celebration: the white and black truffles from the Hills of Rimini and the Fossa Cheese, a pecorino cheese ripened in special tufa pits within the castle of Mondaino, used for storage of agricultural products since antiquity. (continua…)

Riccione, greedy leg of the “Buonpaese”
In the plan of the trips there was a time the packed lunch.
Then the food and wine tourism has got a footing.
The habit of unpacking the sandwich and of speedy biting it survives today in school trips, for the rest it is everywhere replaced by the idea of comfortably sitting at a table in a restaurant to taste the specialties of the area.
When people don’t leave for a purely culinary tour, with definite taverns to visit that are suggested by the best guides.
In Italy, the idea has triumphed that to know a place we should appreciate not only its monuments, churches and museums but also the good products of its local cuisine.
