Riccione, sea holidays and entertainments city, puts itself up also as art and culture place. In the events program of of Riccione there is an appointment with the life and the work of the genius Amedeo Modigliani.
Thanks to Modigliani Institut Archives Legales Paris-Rome, in collaboration with the Province of Rimini and the Municipality of Riccione, from July 17th to September 7th it will be possible to cross the life and the artistic growth of Modigliani.
The exhibition will be set up in the rooms of the Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery Villa Franceschini in Riccione, in Gorizia Boulevard.
Modigliani the life of the Genius, is open Tuesday to Sunday from 8.00 to 11p.m. (on Wednesdays evening at 9.00 pm free guided visit) and Tuesday and Thursday from 8.30 to 12.30 am.
The ticket costs 5 euro, 3 euro the cut fee entry.
The exhibition belongs a vaster work of disclosure and valorization of his artistic work. A lot of events will mark the 2009 as The Modigliani Year.
The painter will be celebrated all over Italy with exhibitions, scientific meetings and catalogues, it will be revealed, finally digitalized, legal files and created a Web- TV completely dedicated to him.
The exposure “Modigliani life of the Genius” is presented by images, a trip through the places of Italy that formed the artist, Livorno, Sardinia, Florence and Venice, Paris, the calm of Normandy, the brilliant pictures of Côte d’Azur and Paris again, beloved Paris, between Montmartre and Montparnasse.
The exhibition is a real trip in the artistic creativity of Modigliani, in the creation of a single and exceptional pictorial and plastic style.
Today, Modigliani is considered one of the best artists of XX century, his works are exposed in the largest museums of the world.
The disclosure of his work and his art pass from Riccione, on the Adriatic Coast to enrich and intrigue all those who want to be fascinated by the eternal Amedeo Modigliani.
