In Rimini, you can visit a very special park dedicated to the historical, architectural and cultural Italian heritage: Italia in miniatura.
On a surface of 85.000 mq, not far from the Adriatic Sea, you can find a smaller Italy, decorated with 270 perfect miniatures of the principal Italian and European monuments, most of them in scale of 1:25 to 1:50. The park is surrounded of green, natural size to relieve the visitors and miniaturized to return even more surprising and alluring the framework of this excursion. Since 37 years this fantastic park attracts visitors of all the ages, by reconciling entertainment with learning. Only here you can play the history simulating the epic battles between the Malatesta Family and the Montefeltro one: below the enclosure wall of Castel Sismondo, symbol of Rimini, reproduced in scale 1:3, you fight with water cannons! Only here you can “travel” by foot, or by a small train, among the monuments of the “Beautiful Country”, from Monterosa to Etna!
Only here you can sail the Canal Grande in gondola, in a belittled “Venice” until a fifth of the original.
Italia in miniatura is also science and physics, in Luna park of science, a pavillion dedicated to knowledge, while playing with interactive machines the visitors can test directly laws of physics, mechanics, optics, hydraulics and of electricity!
