Massage forbidden on the beach
Practised mainly by Chinese or however by Asiatic, the massage on the beach for some years is fashionable along the Italian coasts.
Supported by the low cost of the service and by the muscular tensions with which we arrive at the holiday, it has been experienced by a lot of people.
Difficult, however, that from now on they can re-experience it.
From August 18, 2008, in fact, massages at the beaches are abusive by law.
Undersecretary for Health, Francesca Martini, has issued an ordinance prohibiting this performance along the coasts of the peninsula.
The legislation clearly underlines the dangers involved in massage at the beach and reserve the supply of the practice at appropriate environments.
There are many contraindications in “massages to 5 euros”.
First, the itinerant imaginary physiotherapists massage sensitive parts of the body, like the spine or the neck, without the necessary preparation and competence.
Remember that, although apparently without risks, manipulations can cause trauma to the nerve trunks, abnormal heart rhythm, bone fractures and damage to the liver.
Due to lack of hygiene then, the risk of transmitting skin infections, as warts or fungus, is high.
The unknown origin of the oils, ointments and creams used to rub the skin (then exposed to the sun), makes even more risky the manipulation.
It will be up to the mayors of the communes to implement and comply with the directive.
It is desirable that the policemen at the beach, that from this summer are running after the “vucumprà” in the name of an ephemeral copyright, decide to use their authority for more serious, and especially healthful, reasons.
We of Riccione Turismo exhort you to rely on our staff to book massages and beauty treatments of every kind in the beauty farms of our hotels, or in those with an agreement.
So that you can loosen your muscles or simply relax with the safest massage.
