From 22 to 24 August 2008 the Philatelic Numismatic Convention will come back in Riccione for the joy of the fans of collecting.
The return is more welcome than ever given the economic and organizational difficulties that, arisen during the year, have did fear the worst.
It will be the Palacongressi, rather than the historic Palace of Tourism, to host, in Concordia Hall, the trade conference.

If the place is new, even very new, old is the formula of the event: the organizers have chosen in fact to merge into a single great event the little and various meetings that had sprung up over the years (the International Stamp Exhibition, the International Philatelic Exhibition, the National Numismatic Exhibition, the  Exhibition of Postcard, the European Exhibition of Cards, Phonecards, Electronic Money).

So in three days numismatic and philatelic operators will gather again to exhibit and the private and public participants will have the opportunity in one occasion to admire coins, banknotes, stamps, postcards, phonecards.
Because of the delays, people should renounce to numismatics exhibition, some other events, and the presentation of 2009 catalogues.
The appointment with the outdoor marketplace between private people, in the days before and after the event, is unchanged.

Poste Italiane will be present with their philatelic products, with a special cancellation, and with a project to bring philately nearer to children.
The Philatelic Numismatic Congress is under the sponsorship of the Municipality of Riccione.
Thanks to the Consorzio Operatori Commercio su Aree Pubbliche (C.O.C.A.P.) and Mrs Alga Rossi, estimated numismatics trader of Rimini and a member of that consortium, the organization of the philatelic and numismatic New Year of Riccione is going very well.

We of Riccione Turismo will be happy to receive operators and visitors of the conference in the best hotels of the city, with the hope that the event, with the jump in the future of Palacongressi and the return to the past of the unification, can really find its figure.
