Diet time
The summer is approaching, with it diet time.
From the shop windows bathing suits remind us the need to lose those extra kilos we have accumulated during the cold winter season.
Provided that to follow a proper diet we should turn to experts, and avoid the do-it-yourself, we try to draw up a series of recommendations that are told by common sense.
To achieve lasting results and to prevent a wide range of harmful and unaesthetic consequences, the outcome of a misconduct that is suggested by the haste (stretch marks, the loss of muscular tonicity, damaged hair), weight loss must be set on the long term and should not be drastic.
Beginning diet in spring will allow us to avoid the strict impositions of last time or, still worse, the dangerous panic fasts.
The correct diet should be varied and balanced.
Eat all a bit, this is the saying to follow. And never jump meals.
A breach of the rules once a week, maybe for the weekend, is not only allowed but also advisable because the mood will benefit. And the mood is an integral part of the diet, which must be addressed in a spirit of sacrifice yes, but without unnecessary anxieties.
Constance and patience in the method will be the best allies, especially when, after the first two or three weeks, it becomes more difficult to lose weight. A sharp “braking” is inevitable because physiological, therefore don’t let us be discouraged.
Please note that the diet to be effective must be accompanied by an appropriate physical activity, but here it’s better to ask an opinion to the expert.
We recommend drinking a lot, consuming fruit and vegetables in large quantities, ideal to satisfy the sudden attacks of hunger, avoiding carbohydrates in the evening and not continuously weighing yourself!
A small strategy: let us give us a sense of gratification with small gifts for every lost kilo and at the end of the diet let us run to the town centre to buy the nice bathing suit that, finally and proudly, will accompany our body, with its newfound harmony, on the beautiful beach of Riccione.
