Accussi” does Radio Deejay at Easter in Riccione!
This year on the occasion of Easter the Department of tourism of the town of Riccione presents citizens and tourists on arrival a very special chocolate egg: if you unwrap it, you can hear cheerful voices and laughs, if you taste it, it savours of good mood, if you break it, the notes and the songs of the most popular radio of Italy come out. Riccione prepares for Easter 2008.
Among the Easter initiatives, that one of Associazione Pantòs with the collaboration of the City of Riccione is special for originality and charms: the Last Dinner of Sand, is the title which summarized the great sand sculpture, creates meadows of the track of ice-skating, adjacent street D’ Annunzio in Place Aldo Moro, close to the restaurant La Fattoria (beach 122). Pantos Association carries out this sculpture with the will “to pose in the centre of Easter Festivity the figure of Jesus Christ, during the Last Dinner with its apostles, before dying and reappearing for us”.
The team of seven artists of the “Accademia della Sabbia”, known at the public and the tourists for the achievements of the cribs of Christmas on the beach the last years, proposes to carry out, under the artistic direction of Maestro Antonio Molin, a sculpture four times larger than this of 2007, its impressive size 12 X 9 meters.
For the occasion it will be prepared a covered structure of 12 X 18 meters, to receive and protect the sculpture.
Work began on March three and will be completed in March 15. At 17,00 starts the inaugural ceremony with the presence of several institutional representatives and the Bishop Monsignor Francesco Lambiasi.
During the two weeks of preparation, the artists will be honoured to show the techniques of work of the sculpture, at the schools or the private groups, which will request a guided tour.
The Last Dinner of Sand, will be in Riccione until March 30.

It’s Easter: let’s decorate Easter eggs.
The swallow has been drawn above it perhaps does not make a summer, whereas it immediately makes Easter.

According to its use, it is necessary to empty it of its contents (with a big needle that perforate it at both extremities) if you want to use it as a decoration, whereas you must make it hard-boiled and paint it just with vegetable and for food colours if you want to eat it.
It may be useful to know that by putting in a pot peels of blonde onions you can get the orange, yellow with orange peels or carrots, green with spinach leaves, blue with red cabbage leaves, brown with coffee, red with blueberries or fresh red beet.
Important devices are: adding a teaspoon of vinegar to water, boiling for 15 minutes on a slow fire, putting the pot with colours and eggs in the fridge all night, and polishing eggs with olive oil.
With for food colours (at grocer’s), we suggest instead to bathe already hard-boiled eggs in cold water.
For a colourful and joyous Easter, there is an egg to be coloured or decorated. And who has more ideas, the more they make.

It is Easter: break the eggs (of chocolate)!
At the end of lunch it makes its entrance into the room between the hands of the kiddy of the house and quickly all the family opens it to bring a fine piece of chocolate to the lips and also to see what is the surprise inside. Cleared the table, it remains, in its cellophane packet, kindly available to those who inadvertently passing from there in the afternoon had as a little pang to appease Thus Easter reaches its climax of joy, and not only in Riccione.

Obtained through a process that has in the check of the temperature its crucial phase, it can be prepared also at home, with a cooks thermometer, a spatula, two semishells and the patience that every sublime recipe requires. And a lot of good chocolate!
Perfectly smooth if industrially produced, with small but pleasant flaws if handcraft, it always looks like shiny and tempting, and even mysterious because it hides amongst its greedy walls a nice surprise or, why not, a precious gift that a sweetheart asks to insert in.
Bringer of joy as it is, every mother will put it in the picnic basket for Easter Monday.
As long as at the end of the evening in the cellophane does not remain that the crumbs of the too good chocolate! But if later uncle and aunt pass to greet, perhaps…

Easter is approaching, and with it the time for families to set out on a journey towards the many tourist destinations of our Belpaese. In fact at Easter and Easter Monday it is an habit to have a trip more or less outside the town, and so also the hotels on the Adriatic Coast, after the grey winter break, spring to life again.
