The Sailing Club is one of the most prestigious and important sports associations in Italy.
Since its establishment in 1933, it has symbolised a passion for the sea and nautical tradition.
The Club is a main reference point for the people of Riccione, and also attracts tourists in the summer, who take part in exciting regattas for cabin boats and cruisers in conjunction with the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV) and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
From June to September, the Sailing Club also organises sailing courses at basic, refresher and pre-competition levels, open to adults and children over 6 and accompanied by a Certificate of Attendance from the FIV.
The Sailing Club has worked hard over the years to promote seafaring traditions, organising events and cultural initiatives such as the management of the Saviolina, the historic boat which is under the protection of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture.
